I am incredibly passionate about health and about the process of learning how to best look after yourself because it is something I didn't know how to do until I was diagnosed with a life threatening illness at 27. Being involved in creative arts from a young age lead me to completing a design degree in Fashion which then lead to teaching in order to share the skills I had learnt at undergraduate level. Teaching gave me the skills to be able to navigate through my a cancer diagnosis and now I spend my time between the classroom and educating young people about resilience, health awareness and how encouraging young people to live their best life.
